Care & Support

In Times of Crisis, Questioning, Growth, and Change

Do you have a special need for prayer?

If you or someone you know needs a few extra prayers said for them, please submit your request to the Prayer Vine below or call the Quad-Parish Business Office at 920-496-2160.

It is not necessary to give names or specific details. Request examples: “Please pray for Sue (or ‘a lady’) who is going to Marshfield for testing”, or “Please pray for my new grandson who was born two-months premature.”

You may also request to receive a prayer shawl that has been thoughtfully crafted by our Prayer Shawl Ministry.  These lap blankets bring comfort and support to those looking for hope in times of need.

Home & Nursing Home Visits
Parishioners who are unable to attend Mass due to illness or age may request a Minister of Care to visit and bring Communion by contacting the Quad-Parish Business Office at 920-496-2160.  If you or a loved one has transferred to an area nursing home, please let us know so that we can keep in contact.

Along with home visits, The Quad-Parishes hold communion services weekly at the following Nursing Homes:
– Green Bay Health Services
– Grancare Nursing Center and Grancare Gardens Assisted Living
– Marla Vista
– Care for All Ages

Anointing Masses are offered yearly in spring and fall at the Nursing Homes listed above. You are welcome to join your loved one at this time.  We also have anointing Masses/Services twice a year at the parishes in October and April for those who can come to church.

Hospital Visits
Whenever you or a loved one is hospitalized either a priest or pastoral associate will plan a visit.  Due to privacy concerns, hospitals are not able to initiate contact with the parish without your permission.  Please ask admitting personnel to inform your parish that you or a loved one are in the hospital and have them call the Quad-Parish Business Office at 920-496-2160.

Regular visits are made by our team members to the hospitals on Mondays and Thursdays along with special visits in times of need.

To request the sacrament for yourself or a loved one, please contact Quad-Parish Office at 920-496-2160.

Communal Anointing Masses are offered at the Quad-Parishes in the fall and spring of each year.

When one of our loved ones passes away, the funeral home will contact the Quad-Parish Business Office.  A member of our team will meet with your family to arrange the date and time of services and to provide materials for planning the funeral liturgy.  We are blessed to walk with your family as you honor and celebrate the life of your loved one.

We can provide the following types of services:

  • Wake Service at the Funeral Home
  • Mass of Christian Burial the following day
  • Committal service at the time of burial
  • Visitation at church
  • Funeral Service (not a Mass) at the Funeral Home

Memorial Masses/Services are offered around November 2nd, All Souls” Day, for all those who have died in the past year.  You will be notified and invited to join in the celebration if you have lost a loved one.

Funeral Pre-Planning Materials are also available upon request.

An annulment is a declaration by the Catholic Church that after careful investigation, flaws were discovered in a relationship that prevented it from becoming a marriage as the Church understands marriage. According to Catholic teaching, marriage is a permanent partnership of a man and a woman. Because a marriage lasts “until death do us part,” no one can enter into a second permanent partnership while his or her first spouse is living unless an annulment has been granted.

Contact the Quad-Parish Business Office at 920-497-7042 for more information about the annulment process. All contacts are confidential.
