This Weekend – Welcome Kyle!
Greetings to all Quad Parish parishioners! My name is Kyle Rohan, and I am a seminarian for our Diocese of Green Bay. It has been a privilege to speak to you this weekend and share a little bit of my story. In case you did not get a chance to hear me speak or would like a reminder, here is a shortened version!
I grew up south of Green Bay in Greenleaf, attending St. Clare Parish for the sacraments and grade school. After having encounters with the Lord in the parish and at youth conferences during high school, I discovered that I was open to the possibility of a priestly vocation. I attended UW – La Crosse to study finance after high school. I embraced my faith on a secular college campus, and through the relationships I cultivated at the Newman Center, the Lord increased both my love for Him and my frequenting of His sacraments. Through the mystery of grace, He placed a call toward the priesthood on my heart. I wrestled with Him for quite some time, but His persistence led me to step out in faith on this path.
I completed our Diocesan propaedeutic year in May and will enter College III at St. John Vianney Seminary in St. Paul, MN, in a few weeks. This summer I have been on staff at Catholic Youth Expeditions in Door County. It has been such a joy to walk with the Lord and be affirmed on this path. The adventure with Christ is only beginning!
Thank you for all your support! Please continue to pray for vocations and for all those in formation – we need it! A great way to do this is through the Fiat Prayer Society (visit gbvocations.org/fps for information). May God bless you all!
