Happy Fall! – Carol

HAPPY FALL!
Let us all embrace the cooler temperatures, the fall colors, and a new program year at the Quads!
As part of the “wrap up” of the 2020/2021 fiscal year, copies of the annual parish report are now available at the church entrances as well as at the Quad-Parish Office. You are encouraged to take one home with you to review. Jot down any questions, concerns, suggestions or input you might have and bring those notes with you to the annual parish meetings. The meetings will be held following mass on the dates listed below:
St. Patrick Saturday, Nov. 6
Annunciation Sunday, Nov. 7
St. Joseph Sunday, Nov. 7
St. Jude Sunday, Nov. 14
Annual meetings are required by civil law; however, more importantly, they are your opportunity to be brought up to date on the status of your parish. Please mark your calendars & plan to attend.
A “HEADS-UP” ANNUNCIATION MASS ATTENDEES: Plans have been made to replace the part of the church floor that is under the pews. This is another one of the maintenance items covered in the $100,000 capital campaign. The work is expected to begin the week of October 17 and will last about four weeks. During that time, use of the church will be limited and Annunciation’s 8:00 Sunday Mass and the 8:00 am Friday Mass will move to St. Joseph. Continue to watch the bulletin for more information and updates.
The Capital Campaigns continue at Annunciation and St. Joseph. Annunciation has reached 90% of their $100,000 goal. The roof work has been completed and the church floor and inspection of the lintels is moving forward. St. Joseph is a little over halfway to their $41,500 goal to replace the 12th Avenue parking lot. To those who have donated to these campaigns, Thank You! We need and appreciate your support in helping to keep our facilities and grounds in the best possible condition. If you have not yet been able to make a donation, there is still time. If you did give, but are able to give a little more, that would be awesome! Working together, we can reach the goals of both capital campaigns.
A HUGE congratulations to all four parishes for meeting their 2021 Bishop’s Appeal goals. Good Job! Thank you for your generosity. On behalf of the Quad-Parish staff, thank you for your continued prayers and support. It is a privilege to be able to serve you and minister with you. Have a wonderful Autumn season!
